List of Monarchs

This is a list of monarchs in a table format that I developed for the mobile display of the timeline page.

Note to self: DO NOT UPDATE THIS TABLE - it should just be a copy of the table on the Timeline page.

Content versus navigation.

This has always been a topic that I have taken many steps to get correct.

Now that I have the navigation pretty much as I want it. In that I have menus that appear on mobile screens when the visitor presses the "More" menu option. I have also added a lot more content.

This page is illustrative of what I have and wanted to achieve. The "Links on Page" started out as I say below and the List of Monarchs followed.

The List of Monarchs link can be added to large screen renditions, it is not really needed on a mobile rendition. On a large screen the visitor is taken to the list on this page and it doesn't really matter that this text is visible.

My page with a slider works for me, however, I am not sure that an occasional visitor would.

This technique is to enhance the Expandable Dropdown that doesn't appear on a mobile screen.

I am prototyping on my page on Charles I. I am still not happy with this format. (needs to be view as mobile phone)

BW by century

Again, I have been prototyping this on my timeline page. Unlike the dropdown menu which takes the visitor to the position on the page where there are listings and links to other pages on the website, the links here take you to the Belchamp Walter in the specific century.

I am using the table technique with two columns. The links-on-page does not really need to be a table.
