How often do Google Search Console reports update?

My observation is that the updates are at least once a day.

However, there are instances where the refreshing of the reports can be delayed. This is not that often and it is usually due to a maintenance issue on Google's side.

The screen-shot of the message below has not been seen since September 2021.

Not that I think that it is related it was the same time as I was trying to remove SERP information from other search engines.

Looking at the Google help this does not seem unreasonable as they give widely diverse timings and that there was an identified problem, however, this was in september 2020.

If you read the Google Search Console help they say that it can take up to 4 days (72 hours) for the reports to update. Normally this is a lot sooner than that. My advice is not to worry if the reports are displaying an update greater than a few hours.

An incident where I saw the reports delayed:

July 2024 - On the day (or around that date - it could be a co-incidence) that Google said that they are dropping reporting Universal Analytics the Search Console Reports stalled.

I am not sure that there is a connection between the two. However, it is more than likely that Google have been busy over this period.

Update: The report did update after it exceeded 90 hours but it only went down to 72 hours - the number of Clicks did update but the report was still well behind.
