Anne Warkham
When researching the history of Belchamp Walter I obviously became aware of the Allan Freer research. If you are interested in the same history and have made the same searches as I have, then you have probably come across his website and family trees.
My Maine Heritage
In an attempt in trying to work out why St. Clere Raymond was disinherited of the Belchamp Hall estate I came across the website created by Kathrine Cole Aydelott. I am pretty sure that I have made the search before and I am assuming that the page is new since I did.
The screenshot below was from the rootsweb.com website which is now no longer active.
The "My Maine Heritage" website was created and maintained by Kathrine Cole Aydelott, MLIS, PhD. - while I admire her work I do think that there is more than a small portion of misinformation being perpetuated through the corruption of the GEDCOM database.
Katherine has some dis-claimer notes on her freepages.rootsweb.com page - as long as it exists. I am not sure if the migration to Reunion came before or after the decision by RootsWeb to discontinue their free hosting. It would seem that there is a measure of the pursuit of a business opertunity on the part of Ancestry.com here.
Lawrence Warkham
Drilling down on the Anne Warkham name reveals an inconsistancy in that the father of Anne was Oliver Raymond, or it is just bad formatting the Reunion for Machintosh provides (My Maine Hertiage).
There is no mention of her father, according to Alan Freer, and as such - no clue to why the Raymonds disinherited St. Clere.
I have searched for Lawrence Warkman to no avail.
John Raymond, the 3rd of Belchamp Hall and son of John Raymond II (of Belchamp Hall), inherited the estate on the death of Oliver Raymond, MP. in 1679. John Raymond III died in 1720 and was succeeded by William Raymond.
