Such is my frustration with Peter Barns-Graham's website I decided to make a page for it. This is similar to other geneological websites.

The Stirnet website uses the Wordpress plugin Memberpress in an attempt to encourage visitors to signup.

Similarly, my frustration with Wordpress I decided to make a page for that as well. The Wordpress plugin that Stirnet uses is particularly annoying to the extent that makes the site unuseable unless you become a member, but I guess that is the whole point of using memberpress!

Reading some of the background story that Peter Barn's-Graham gives on his website confirms that what started out as a "pure" genealogy site he morphed it into a money-making concern. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I would hope that there is a better way other than using Memberpress.
