February 2023, there seems to be a "buzz" about the ability that ChatGPT (or similar technologies) can undermine the education system and news reporting.
What seems to be missing is that there still needs to be a human programmer involved in the output.
My interest in this is in regard to how AI (oh how I hate the term!) is suggested to be used to influence search results.
Google Bard
Google have entered the race with ChatGPT for the AI market with their experimental (November 2023) Bard.
I am not sure how relevant this is as most of the people I know are reluctant to make searches let along ask an AI platform!
As for "explaining new discoveries from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope to a 9-year-old".
I think that there is a fair amount of schadenfreude in the press when some facts were presented incorrectly. At least Google are doing something with the technology, or maybe it is just what I am aware of.
