Anthropic Project Glasswing
Anthropic's Project Glasswing and Claude Mythos Preview is causing a bit of a stir in the Cyber Security world.
The discussion on this subject is well covered by many news outlets and there is little point repeating it here. I will add links as I find them, my fear is that the debate seems similar to that of the NSA Snowden situation of 2007-2011. Project Glasswing could be similar to that of PRISM.
This is not to say that Anthropic's AI is not a threat but there may be a little hype going on.
The overall effect that AI is going to have on society is yet to pan-out. Whether it will turn out to be a good thing or cause a loss of jobs for the many we will have to see.
