Anthropic Project Glasswing

Anthropic's Project Glasswing and Claude Mythos Preview is causing a bit of a stir in the Cyber Security world.

The discussion on this subject is well covered by many news outlets and there is little point repeating it here. I will add links as I find them, my fear is that the debate seems similar to that of the NSA Snowden situation of 2007-2011. Project Glasswing could be similar to that of PRISM.

This is not to say that Anthropic's AI is not a threat but there may be a little hype going on.

The overall effect that AI is going to have on society is yet to pan-out. Whether it will turn out to be a good thing or cause a loss of jobs for the many we will have to see. The Mythos AI is directed at the field of Cyber Security a subject that is dear to some of the content of the tempusfugit.me.uk wedbsite.

In earlier times I have been intrigued by the antics of hackers. The emphasis now seems to have shifted from Crypto Currency to the threats of AI.

Trump has not only attacked Iran, with the Israelies, he have sidled-up to the Gulf States in the build up of AI Stacks.

The AI Stack

The terms "AI Stack" and "generative AI stack" are being used to describe the workings of AI in general.

The AI stack combines integrated tools, libraries, and solutions to create applications with generative AI capabilities, such as image and text generation. The components of the AI stack include programming languages, model providers, large language model (LLM) frameworks, vector databases, operational databases, monitoring and evaluation tools, and deployment solutions.

The infrastructure composition of the AI stack uses parametric knowledge from the foundation models and non-parametric knowledge from information sources (PDFs, databases, search engines) to conduct generative AI functionalities like text and image generation, text summarization, and LLM-powered chat interfaces.
