Development of code for database work

I can now connect to a mySQL database.

PDO - PHP Data Objects - I started a page for this (see below)

The file connect.php is throwing an error when it is accessed by a robot - I am not using it so I deleted it.

mySQL and ERP

Today we have e-Commerce platforms that are database driven. How this fits with the traditional ERP systems of SAP and JD Edwards who knows?
