What's the buzz around Belchamp Walter?
This page was from 2020/21 - it was written at the time of the filming of Downton Abbey II, A New Era's opening scene.
The author of this website was instrumental in the decision to use Belchamp Walter, Belchamp Hall and the church of St. Mary, Belchamp Walter for a location.
The initial communication between the location scout and me was made through the contact mechanism of the Village Hall website.
This page and website are administered by a Belchamp Walter resident and the intent is to "keep things local". As a community we would like to benefit from any increase in interest in the area and not have an outside company take the credit and profit from our fortunes.
