Website Flow

Top

When making changes to your website it is important to check that the "flow" of your pages is still clear.

At the moment, September 2020, I don't think that I am there yet after making some changes. The changes revolve around the seperation of content into specific areas of interest.

In my opinion, a good website flow is more than just a clean and simple design with uncluttered menus it should include an easy method for the visitor (or me) to find anything on the website. Often I find that I have a web design discussion that I know I have a page for but I can't find it.

Google's Webmaster Guidelines suggest that you use a sitemap to help your users and search engine robots find your content. They also warn about duplication of information, as it could be seen as spam - would not worry about this.
