Universal Analytics

Update December 2023 I am not sure if I am using Google Analytics 4 to its fullest. I do run GA 4 but my code still uses the old UA id in the tracking code.

When I access Google Analytics, May 2022 (and before - for a few months), I get the message:

I have setup a GA4 property and it seems to be receiving data. However, my pages still have the Universal Analytics tracking code.

When I look on the GA4 property I see a different view of things than I am used to. I have a lot to learn. I also probably need to change the tracking code in the header of my pages to use the GA4 id.

There may be a time where I want to update all my tracking codes to the same code. I could use the search and replace in my editor but it would probably better to use a tool such as grep.
