The Somery Family

Things get a little unclear here. This has not been helped by the account of the village of Belchamp Walter by Thomas Wright.

Unlike other historical websites, such as WikiTree and Geni.com, tempusfugit is not a collection of (sometimes) partially completed family trees that seem to be populated by those attempting to trace their ancestors to someone in the royal family.

The Somery family

The Somery family, of Warwickshire, appear to be related by marriage to the de Botetourt family, for which there is an ornate chantry chapel remains at Belchamp Walter.

Joan Somery

Joan was wife of Thomas de Botetourt. How Joan and Thomas knew each other is the question.
