Being related to royalty

Having performed a fair amount of research on geneogical links I have come across a fair share of sites that would like you to build your own family trees. In a similar vien to Danny Dyer there is a burning desire to work out your relation to royalty.

This page is part of an on-going research project on the history of Belchamp Walter and the manor of Belchamp Walter. If you have found it making a web search looking for geneological or other information on the village then please bookmark this page and return often as I am likely to make regular updates. If you delve deeper into this website you will find many other pages similar to this one.

The Plantagenet Roll

The Plantagenet Roll of the Blood Royal: The Mortimer-Percy Volume By The Marquis of Ruvigny and Ranieval was first published in 1911. I found the Google Scan of the book searching for Samuel Millbank Raymend

Samuel Millbank Raymond died in 1863, so he was not living at the time the book was first published but there was a section for him.

The family tree is here

According to British geneticist Adam Rutherford, it is "virtually impossible" that a person with a predominantly British ancestry is not descended from Edward III.[2] He has calculated that "almost every Briton" is "descended between 21 and 24 generations from Edward III".

There seems too much of an emphasis on using their services to build your own family tree. Detailed reports require membership and a log-on.
