The Pilgrim Family
The Pilgrim family name appears in both the 1851 and 1891 cesuses that I have data for.
So far I have not been able to locate a grave in the churchyard of St. Mary's Belchamp Walter.
Entries in the 1851 Census
As I only have the index to the census I have assumed that entries grouped with the same name are resident at a single address. Single entries could members of the family living with another family as a lodger or live-in servant.
I can find 11 entries and (presumed) 3 residences.

Why this page on the Pilgrim Family
The author of this website met someone in the churchyard who was looking for Pilgrim graves. At the time I was not aware of the 1851 census although the visitor said that she had access to the 1861 census and that is why she was looking. She was taking some time in the Belchamp Walter cemetery as she was going to attend a presentation by Ashley Cooper in Sudbury that evening.
