NSA, Snowden and Wikileaks

As a follow-up on my pages on Cyber Security, and to provide a place for me to place links to other Internet resources on the project, this is a page relating to the antics of the American NSA in the period 2007 - 2015/16

I have many links to the Wikipedia pages and some to Guardian articles, these can be looked up for yourself (if yu have found this page - I know where the links are here).

The NSA fiasco relates to the revelations made by Edward Snowden in 2013. The main area of interest that I had was in the PRISM program that Snowden leaked to Glen Greenwald then of the Guardian after a contact in 2007 when Snowden was with the CIA in Geneva.

One of the features of the PRISM electronic data mining program was that they, the NSA, had managed to compromise TOR communications.

Wikileaks and Julian Assange

I could do I whole page on this but why bother when there is so much information on Wikipedia and I can't really add anything. However, some of the things that were supposedly leaked have turned out to be less of a threat than they first presented. The Smartphones, PCs and TVs: the everyday devices targeted by the CIA article from the Guardian is a case in point.
