Robert de Bures and John de Botetourt

Robert de Bures and John de Botetourt were both born in 1265 they were both important knights and possibly fought either together or against each other.

It was first thought that both fought in the Battle of Boroughbridge (1322), but possibly on opposing sides. Both Botetourt and Bures were quite old for knights at around 57 years, so it is presumed that they were commanders as oppossed to foot soldiers.
