Stansted Montfitchet

There is definitely a connection to Stansted Montfitchet to Belchamp Walter but there is no entry in Thomas Wright. However, there are multiple references to the Gernons of Stansted Montfitchet.

The Wikipedia page says:

Stansted Mountfitchet is an English village and civil parish in Uttlesford district, Essex, near the Hertfordshire border, 35 miles (56 km) north of London. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 5,533, increasing to 6,011 at the 2011 census.

The church of St. Mary the Virgin is situated between the village and the M11. Stansted airport is on the other side of the motorway.
