Shopify - eCommerce

A business that was based in the village is a Shopify user for their ecommerce website.

tempusfugit.me.uk has an interest in this with regard to a general knowledge of what platforms are available for use with a diverse mix of websites.

While I can see that Shopify is pretty competant platform for ecommerce I don't think that it is a "fit" for the "friends" website. Let me explain why.

We are not an on-line store

To have the overhead of the functionality of an online store would be too expensive for the primary reason for the Friends Support Group.

Overhead and User Interface

If you are considering using Shopify for a non-commerce website you may be paying for something you are not using and there maybe better solutions for your website.
