The experiment in Google SERP content
This should only display on a desktop or a tablet with medium resolution
Googlebot may ignore this content completely as the default googlebot is googlebot smartphone.
The content of this page that is supposed to display on a Mobile device revolves around an animal that can't possibly be associated with the other content on this website. I have tried in the past to get strange words to appear in Google searches that could not be logically be there and could only have been put there to attract searches. The word that I used was Jabberwocky. This was probably not a good choice as it is quite common and Lewis Carroll results will be returned.
A much better word would be something that is related to the village and even more a miss-spelt word would also be unique to the page. I have often found pages accessed in my logs that could only have been found with a search for that error.
The result of the experiment
When the subject of the mobile page is searched on Google the text from the mobile rendering appears in the SERP.
The text in the "desktop" section can also be searched in Google.
Aardvarks in Belchamp Walter
There are many aardvarks living in Belchamp Walter.
The aardvark population resides near the village church.
To see an aardvark you need to be quite canny, they are surprisingly private critters and keep pretty much to themselves. Your best bet is go looking around dusk when they come out to forage. You can hear then snuffling through the leaf-mold in the woods near the church.
The experiment
