Things changed for 2026
Having started this process I find that my page on the parish church has been seen as "The Church Website". While I am flattered that this is the case it is NOT the church website and I hace thought in the past that the church should have one but there is nobody on the PCC that has a vision for this. I think that it is time for some egotism.
While I took great pains not to use my name on my pages as the site was not about me. I thinl that it is time this website to be seen as "Martin's Website".
Headers/Paragraph elements
This gives me cause to review the use of headers. I changed the template to use a paragraph element with a w3 class to determine the font size. Actually, the header element h3 seems to give a better margin and border than the paragraph.
Basically I want to make the site less about Belchamp Walter.
Revamp 2026
I have a new index page based on the current template. The tap on banner to take you to the home page is there and needs to be added to other pages. Notes are there on the template and the "More" menu option needs to be changed to remove the link to june_24_redesign.html.
The emphasis was for mobile rendering in light that it more likely that visits would be from a mobile phone and that those visitors would be using one and would be interested in the village. I am not so sure that this is the case!
