Site Design for 2024

Many enhancements have been made to my site template over the last year. I hope that the mobile rendering is now a lot better.

When the pages are viewed on a mobile phone there should be a mobile header based on the image found on the desktop rendering. The templates will contain Time-Flys and Bishop Odo for these images. These are to be modified according to the topic, i.e. genealogical pages have gene_1.png

I now have the ability to make the pages look completely different depending on what device they are viewed. The example here is also an experiment in SEO as it should be found making a search for Aardvarks in Belchamp Walter.

Caret Down or Hamburger

I have changed the straight menu button on the mobile screen to include a down caret. This differs from the Parish Council design where I am using the Hamburger icon. (I have changed this to a similar menu design as seen on this page/site)

The question is what make more sense to the casual visitor. To me the caret down means a dropdown, which can also mean a menu.

The Stackexchange post over complicates the issue in my opinion.

Primary method of audit

This should be the Smartphone as that is the most likely way the pages will be accessed from those making an Internet search.
