Stylesheets to print pages

This page is an experiment to develop stylesheets to allow the formatting of pages for printing.

The first example is more of an illustation of how to use the beforeprint and afterprint events.

This should always be hidden.

The MDN Example

" To try out the afterprint event, click the link below to open the window to print. You can also try changing the code to use beforeprint to see the difference.

Open Popup Window "

I have changed the MDN code to create a pop-up with a QR code for my Belchamp Walter Church page. This is not ideal as it does not format the printed page in the way that I would like finally. However, it does illustrate the opening and closing of print dialogs.

Using a hidden iframe

This is a technique suggested by MDN to print a page (content) without opening it.

At the moment this is not working
