Parish Council Websites

The closure of EssexInfo.net is now old news. While I thought that it could be a business opportunity it did not pan out thay way.

There were many options that were available when EssexInfo.net finally closed and one of the issues that was stated as a feature you would need is that the site be "accessible". i.e. the site can be used by those with impairments amd/or disabilities. As you as a Parish Council are in fact a government organisation the level at which you operate is at a much lower level. While technically the accessibilty is a requirement your audience is unlikely to notice or require this functionality. In addition, those that claim "accessibility by design" this is not necassarily the case.

Responsive Design

When I started out on this project while my designs were responsive they are now far more so and it is my opinion that the mobile rendering of the site in superior to many other designs that I have seen.
