Advanced Javascript

An attempt to tie things together

Going beyond simple HTML and web design, doing a little more with the Documant Object Model.

The JavaScript that forms the basis of a lot of the code that I seem to have adopted rwquires much analysis. A case in point is the code for the carousel. I initally took the code from the W3C website and adapted it. Further research unearthed the ARIA code relating to accessibilty.

While a lot of the code that the W3C website provides as examples is useful to explain the oporation of many JavaScript concepts a lot are quite simplistic. Othe references to the Mozilla Developers Network are normally in greater depth. When it comes to Advanced JAvascript there are refernces to this on W3C but the explanation is often rather rudamneary.

My general page on JavaScript describes some of the techniques that I have used on this website for the development of my user interface. As a process of research for some of these more basic techniques some more advanced coding has been found. These I am featuring on this page.
