Should you Incorporate?

When I lived and worked in Canada and the United States I had an Incorporated company. The reasons for this were not clear at the time and it was probably more trouble than it was work.

I never processed any of my business trasactions through the Incoprated company as it was just as easy to carry out my business as a Sole Practitioner. I spent a lot of time fileing NIL corporate tax returns to Revenue Canada and had to file for all years I was registered before I could de-register.
