My Website

I started this website primarily because I could and I wanted to see what I could do with it. It started as technical reference but I soon realised that I could not compete with the many other references available on the Internet. In fact I had no intention of doing so and I was more focused in documenting what I had found out for myself.

My earlier incarnations of the site had many outbound links to other websites and resources. The trouble with that was that anyone finding one of my pages as I had actually posted something that sparked their interest they were more than likely to click on one of my "research links" and find something far more interesting there. I also became aware that many of the sites that I was references did not have many links to other websites as their main goal was to sell you, the visitor, a product or service.

The links to W3C are particularly ueseful for my own use. The fact that I put them on my pages for all to see did nit really help. Still, having them hidden so that only I can see them has allowed my to audit my pages far more efficiently.
