Essex Records Office

When I started my list of items that I would like to view in the Essex Archives I started with a search for "Belchamp Walter".

Not surprisingly many results were returned that included Belchamp Hall and the Raymond Family.

Manoral Records

These records should contain details of the day-to-day affairs of the Manor, including judicial judgements made by the Lord of the Manor. These affairs would include minor misdemeanors as well as the sale and transfer of land.
