Fifth layout test

I started this page when I was developing my fourth design template. I can see how far I have come. I had linked the old design and have uploaded it to the server.

This page uses the Fifth layout template.

The reason for changing the layout and abandoning the shim was that the fact that the visitor was probably anoyed that they could not click on a link to another website never to be seen again. I think that I now have a good compromise and I have the links hard-coded on the page and embedded in the code. The theory here is that there is an indication of a link but it does not allow the visitor to leave. They can copy and paste the URLs if they remove the spaces.

The implementation of a timed modal was abandoned as it did not really add that much to the page-flow and I still needed to add that I do have a reference link.
