Cottage Row, Belchamp Walter

The location of Cottage Row was in dispute as it was thought that they could be the houses on Gestingthope Road, the last of the cottages what is now the location of the water treatment plant. But is more likely that the locatio was the houses on what is now Bells Road West of the Duck pond.

Cottage Row in the 21st Century

The cottages are long gone. The area West of the village pond is now occupied by Field House.

The garden of Waverly house also occupies the land which formerly was the location of the cottages and the Belchamp Walter Work House.
