Using SEO techniques to get Impressions is relativly easy. When an Internet user makes a search and you have followed the advice from the search engine providers it is likely that your content will appear in an index.

Due to the nature of Google in the way that it reports queries it is not easy to determine what a visitor is looking for when either an Impression or more importantly a Click is seen. In some cases Google Search Console will tell you what the query was for a page that gets an impression. More often is does not and you are left guessing.

For example, a Click on my Dundonald page could be someone searching for the village name and this website, something that is on the page (such as the inventor of uses for Coal Tar) or even the original subject of the page. The original subject of the page was one of my local history pages that I am not sure I can continue.
