Belchamp Walter's PC Smith

An article in the Halstead Advisor, 27th October 1976, mentions PC Lindey Smith as "copper" in Belchamp Walter. The aricle entitled "Police 999" by Sean Robinson detail the antics of the police in the Colne Valley. This was part of a three-week feature and mentions the villages of Belchamp Walter, Belchamp St Paul's and Borley among other communities in the region.
