Developing a Timeline

This is no simple task. I draw inspiration from the Wikipedia pages and other Geneological websites that I have found.

My current design may not "play well" with all users as it depends a lot on the screen resolution of the device viewing it.

This is not too dissimilar to mine. It features in its early centuries monachs from the Medieval period and earlier. It is an interesting comparison to what mine is evolving to.
