The Spanish Armada is the name given to the sea battle between the English Fleet and the Spanish in the English Channel and the subsequent "chase" North around the coast of Scotland and Ireland. The "chase" resulted in many wrecks of Spanish ships in the seas and oceans aroud the British Isles.
