What I mean by a Shim

You may have noticed that most of my pages do not allow the visitor to click on an external link and leave this website. Originally these links were placed to allow the visitor to see where I was basing the subject of the page. On analysis it was found that there was little benefit of doing this. These links are still available for those that are curious to know and I will gladly supply them.

Another reason for not posting the ditrect links is that I cannot guarantee that that they are still live or have any endorsment on their accuracy.
