Having generated and used QR codes in a number of promotions I am now reconsidering the wisdom of their widespread use.

Having come across vqr.vc I was suspicious about the .vc domain.

vqr.vc

vqr.vc is owned by Cimpress Schweiz GmbH, which does advertising & branding. They're going to be tracking the impressions on redirecting to the client's site to gauge response rates.
