New page to Google - Submitting for index

Problem with file name and W3C nu HTML validator.

When I was checking my page on submitting a new page to Google I discovered that the W3C nu validator did not like file names ending with the word "google".

That is why there is _1 at the end of this pages filename. I wanted to start a page on the importance of using your quota to make requests using Google Search Console for pages to be reindexed. If you are small independant web site maintainer then you are not as likely for the main web spiders to pay you a visit. To ensure that Internet users will find your content.

Using your daily quota on Google Search Console

If you submit your pages to Google to be indexed you will find that you hit a maximum number that you can submit at any one time.

Looking at Google's help it suggests:

Learn your canonical page: Inspect the indexed version of the page and look at the Page indexing > Google-selected canonical field. You can determine the canonical version only in the indexed data; the live test cannot predict whether or not the tested version will be considered canonical.

In some respects it is an indication that the subject of "Canonical" is not obvious.
