Page Checking

Again, this is a fundamental step in my simple approach to website management. All page should be checked locally before they are uploaded to a server and seen by the outside world.

Depending on the computer and operating system that you are using the choice of web browser will be determined. You can use alternative browsers, I prefer to use the default browser the operating system uses. Windows 10 has Microsoft Edge as its default. Apple computers - Safari. Other browsers can be used and it is a good idea to check your pages and website on as many platforms as you can.

Browser Cache

The Safari browser on the iPhone is particularly problematic in this regard. Changes made on pages may not be seen unless the browser cache (Internet History) is cleared.
