When a PHP Page fails

When a PHP Page fails is just "Crashes and Burns"! i.e. if there is a syntactical error in the code it will just throw a 500 server error.

I have created a PHP template based on my current layout. I did this before, but going forward a need an easier way to generate a PHP page.
