User String
The User Agent String is a useful way of telling how a visitor accessed your website.
Seen above is screen-shot capture from my server logs that shows a visit from a ChatGPT User Agent.
The whatismybrowser.com website says:
Their example is different but the visit above shows "the weird looking string".
The weird looking string of text (above) is your user agent. It's a short, technical description of the web browser,
operating system, (and maybe mobile device) that you're using as you access the internet.
Your web browser sends it to every website you visit.
Most websites ignore it, but by analysing it, we can tell you what web browser you're using,
and other interesting things about your computer.
