The Development of a Storyboard

I could use this for a How-to

i.e. How to use the w3.css templates

Next slide - Have chosen the "Pause" approach.

The concept of a "storyboard" is interesting in the way that it could be used.

The next slide function is a feature of another slideshow logic. Analysis of JavaScript for slide control

The second page should ideally be in the same postion as the first.

In my development of a webpage (website) for a local Craft Fair I extended both my slidshow development and template modification techniques resulting in this page.

The second page

This was taken from the page that I am developing for a Conquest to Wentworth page.

This is a test to see how the part of the page below the "Top" button displays between slides.

The Craft Fair

The Craft fair webpage started off as a simple adaptation of the House Design Template.

You can see what the House design looks like and its supporting code by visiting the W3CShools website. The iamge seen on the right is the first set of modifications into the new template for the Friends of BW Church.

The starting place for the Craft Fair page:

The images probably need to be placed in seperate containers.

In addition, to prototype a storyboard the index of the slide that is being worked on and the interval can be reset to the "working" slide and a long interval.

When the "how-to" has been developed the settings can be changed back to appropriate values.

Notes

I need to combine the functionality of the manual and automatic slide controls.

The function showSlides(n) needs to be debugged. The page controlled.html uses the showSlides(n) in combination with function plusSlides(n) for Next and Previous slide. The timed displays use 2 modified functions showSlides2() and showSlides5(), which hard codes the SetTimeout value set while looping the dots array.

The setTimout() value is set by 2 new functions that set the carousel() function speed.

Borders
A border does look good but scales on content

The borders do give an idea of padding

Without another div the text on the left everything is centered.

I may wish to take the borders out.
