The Partridge Family - no not the one with David Cassidy!

The Partridge family name is memorialised on the Belchamp Walter War Memorial and there are two graves in the Belchamp Walter cemetery. The family name does not appear in either the 1851 or 1891 censuses but John Benjamin Partridge, Home Guard, is recorded in local newspaper articles and is a good starting place to find out who was who in the 1940's Belchamp Walter.

The Portland Stone memorial is situated in the PC administered section of the cemetery at St. Mary's Belchamp Walter - the burial register has the reference #95 for it.
