A prediction on the outcome of the filming of New Era

I think that once the movie has been released, today as I am writing this, there may be a few that will recognise Felsham Hall from their "Lovejoy memory", I doubt that many will be bothered to read the credits and as far as I can see there is no attribution on IMDB to filming at Belchamp Walter.

If you look at the Highclere Castle website you can see that there was no NDA (non-disclosure agreement) signed for them. You cannot say the same for Belchamp Walter.

At the moment there are more visits from those looking to see where Lovejoy was filmed. This is mainly due to the fact that Lovejoy is still being aired and there is a genuine interest. We shall see about Belchamp Walter. I think that our best bet is someone posting on Facebook or Twitter that they have a "scoop". If this is the case then I expect to see a very short-term spike in visits but it will not be sustained for very long.

Was the distruption worth it?

Seeing that the very small part that Belchamp Walter played in the movie the question is, was it worth it?

Searches getting Impressions

The day after the release I logged searches for: "belchamp hall downton abbey" - resulting in one click.

This tells me that those that could have made the connection searched for this, whether there were other visits on other sites returned making the same search is not known. This site was #3 in the Google SERP.
