Felsham, St. Peter, is not the church featured in the TV series Lovejoy. Felsham Hall, the home of Lady Felsham was
in fact Belchamp Hall in Belchamp Walter.
Strangly Felsham cannot be found in the Manors of Suffolk. There are many references to Gedding, the joint community.

The origin of the name "Felsham" is not clear, but one theory gives its meaning as Faela or "pleasant enclosure".[3]
Felsham was listed as Fealsham in the Domesday Book of 1086.
