External Shim

A pop-up for accessing external links .

Using the code I developed for a Link Shim, to emulate what Facebook does with links to other websites, I want a shim that displays a message explaining why the visitor will not be directly routed to the external website.

Incorporation into template

The shim is to be added to the template and the External Links section changed to a Javascript function.

In a similar manner to the Facebook Shim and the Shim that I was developing for the Research links page, this Shim is a little more complex and the linked page has to be set in the dialog.

The modal, in this case "fb_modal", currently links to external.html.
