Research on Essex Churches

When researching the churches that we want to visit in our near vicinity a number of books were obtained from the public library sytem and some of the books that I have collected over the years were consulted.

Essex by Marcus Crouch (1969) was one of the books in my collection that I missed following up as it described the area of the Belchamps with glowing praise.

References to Thomas Wright and Beresford's Lost Villages were also found and this ties in nicely with my previous research.
