Discovered - currently not indexed
Another Google Search Console report catagory.
Pages that are listed in this report are sometimes actually in the Google index. At the moment I am putting this down to GSC just "catching up"
In many cases if you perform an INSPECT URL within Console the result that you get back is that your "URL is on Google", so there is no point in using up any more of your quota in submitting the page for re-indexing.
If you have not made an indexing request then you can submit one.
In other cases the URL Inspectinn tool clearly says that the page has not been indexed. Search Engine Land.com seem to concur that:
They also suggest using the URL Inspection Tool as there may be underlying issues with the page.
Search Engine Land also mentions a "Temporary indexing" and some other issues regarding what Google use to determine "quality". In any case there seems to be a difference between this and Crawled - currently not indexed

Using Google Search Console and seeing what pages are indexed is a good exercise to perform on a regular basis.
