Belchamp Walter Research

When researching the village of Belchamp Walter there are a number of approaches. My research started with an attempt to document what I saw in the church of St. Mary the Virgin. My starting point was the names on the memorials and other features in the church. This was suplimented by the inforation sheet that I found in the church on my first visit.

Over the years of performing this research and uploading it to the Internet I have a few observations.

There is little point in trying to compete with an established family name or business. These have been around for a long time and as such they will be returned by Internet searches. To find more specific information is a little more of a challange.

The other issue with the Internet (and ChatBot) search for information about the village is that they are prone to being influenced by incorrect geneological data
