Stoneham Parva, Suffolk

Stoneham Parva Church was visited 15 June 2023 on a short day-trip including visit to St. Peter's, Claydon.

Both Stoneham Parva and St. Peter's, Claydon are churched that had been "retired" by the Church of England and are now under the care if Churches Conservation Trust (CCT).

St. Mary, Stoneham Parva is in pretty rough shape of repair particularly the area around the altar in the Chancel which was behind a barrier. There are old beams, presumably from the roof that have been replaced that are sitting outside of the church exposed to the elements.
