Search Philosophy

In developing a Search Philosophy for this website I need to set some rules and assumpsions.

Many websites have a search function and this is quite easy if the site is based on database driven architecture on the server. For Example, Wordpress uses a database to store content that can be formatted by the chosen theme or layout.

It is likley that a web page is found by the user as a result of an Internet search. There is little point is having the same type of search that another search using Google or Bing would create. My aim is to present the visitor with a list of suggestions that I think are related to the page that was found not just another page that the Search Engine has determined has terms that are related to the topic.
