Formerly you would have found only a few outbound links to other websites on this website. This is mainly due to the fact that I do not benefit from providing such links. If I appear to have such a link please feel free to contact me.

Having made extensive use of Google tracking tools, Analytics and Search Console, I am well aware that visitors to this website often click on outbound links never to return.

Giving away Page Ranking

While this may well be still case, not having any links to pages that I used to gather information for the pages does not help anyone.

Google Search Console and Page Rank

Now that Google seem to have made their search console more focus the concept of "Page Rank" alone has ceased to be a major issue. The "position" of your "Impression" in a SERP is of more relevance.

Google Search Console is a great tool that you can use to determine whether your pages are indexed by Google and if they have been found by Internet users making searches.

Part of the functionality of Google Search Console is the ability to inspect your URLs and find what Google makes of your pages. This includes not only if the page is indexed but also the referring page, whether it is in a sitemap and if there is a Canonical reference, plus more.
