The Order of The Norman Conquest

The Order Of The Norman Conquest was found when I was starting to fill in some of the background to the names that I had found in Thomas Wright's History and Topography of Essex.

The paper presented by Edward Charles Horton at their Inaugural Meeting sets out a basis that I thought I could work with:

" Companions of the Conqueror: Sources, Ancestors and Descendants Presented at the Inaugural Meeting of the Order of the Norman Conquest By Edward Charles Horton, 1st Vice President General April 14, 2015

The sources

Although the sources are listed the website does not link to any of them. Fair enough, nor does mine, but, I do give a reference to them if anyone wants to ask for them.

Actually they seem to be mainly Wikipedia links.
